- Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave.
- Keep raw [meats or poultry] separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw [meat or poultry].
- Cook thoroughly.
- Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
- Frozen products may slightly thaw but is OK at internal temperature of 45 degrees.
- Frozen properly German Franks may last to 6 months and Coneys to 3 months.
